Mark Galvin, President and Founder of ePresence, LLC, is a personal social media expert with 37 years of business management and hotel industry experience. He specializes in blending technology, marketing, networking and social branding. Over the course of his hospitality career, Mark focused on developing leaders, sales people and strategic visions.
Mark’s company, ePresence, LLC, manages social media for organizations and individuals. His ePublicists create and curate content for their clients. They deliver additional services that increase career opportunities and drive higher ROI on social media for his clients.
Widely considered a pioneering leader in social media, Mark is frequently called as a commentator on key issues. He served as the social media expert for WSB Radio’s “Lenz on Business” radio show and has also been a guest on numerous podcasts. He hosts “How’s Your ePresence?”, which is both a webcast and podcast, featured on Gwinnett BusinessRadioX, YouTube, Facebook, all podcast channels, including Spotify and iTunes, and offers a LIVE LinkedIn channel. On the show he offers a selection of how-to’s for digital marketing. He continuously expands the library of topics to assist his audience de-mystify digital marketing.
In addition to his programs and presentations surrounding personal branding and social media, Mark also speaks extensively on the role of social media in today’s political environment. He is committed to keeping the internet safe for younger users and speaks to parent groups regarding social media use among teens.
Mark was member of the Rotary Club of Brookhaven, where he was honored as the 2018 Rotarian of the Year. He has also been active in the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Ambassadors committee and earned the distinction of 2018 Business of the Year Award, Emerging Business. He also serves on the Leadership Team for Brookhaven PowerCore and served as their Zoom CoOrdinator during COVID-19 helping over 15 teams with their virtual efficiencies.
A graduate of the Marist School, he remains devoted to his alma mater and has served on Marist’s Alumni Association Board for five years. He is the currently serving as a Director on the Alumni Board and a founding member of Marist’s Synaxis.
Mark resides in Tucker with his wife of 30 years. The couple has three adult children: a son and two daughters.
